Project Details -

This pool project was built 10' in the air to match up precisely with the 2nd floor of the home.  By placing the pool level with the main living space this helped connect the view to the lake & screen the neighbor homes.  So, the pool was started before the house with the home being built around it.  The cinder block outer vessel could be used to match the home & hold the gravel used to create the floor profile of the supported gunited pool structure. The spa dam was tiled to match the water color and blend the pool & spa together.  The gusher on the tanning ledge gives the water sound that can be enjoyed as the doors open into the space.  The home rooms are part of the pool patio as well as the lower, Trex deck set so the pool wall could add seating.  The Black Onyx Pebblesheen matches the roof and windows and is highly reflective to show off the home lighting and sunsets.  The pool equipment and to be above the foliage easement and was set on a deck platform incorporated with the deck steps. Blending architecture & site together with a vessel of water - WOW!
